Ian J Driben, VMD is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Previously, he received his B.S. in Business Administration from Rutgers University School of Business. He feels that these two aspects (oral care/dentistry & nutrition/body condition) of your pet's health can be well cared fro at home and should be viewed as preventative maintenance that may add years to your pet's health by staving off heart, liver, kidney, and orthopedic disease. He enjoys educating his clients about these and various other health and behavior issues affecting many of our pets today. His other special interests include surgery (PennHIP certified and Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair), Internal medicine and chemotherapy, and volunteering during the summer in South Dakota with the Humane Society of the United States' Rural Area Veterinary Services helping to provide veterinary care and education to the Cheyenne River Sioux and Oglala Sioux Peoples. His current affiliations include the SNJVMA, the NJVMA (executive board member), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) where he was recognized as a 2010 Emerging Leader, and is a member of the newly formed University of Pennsylvania Dean's Alumni Council in 2011.
